There's just something wonderful about a tiny mountain town, at the edge of a lake.

If you're looking for a quiet get-away in a charming little town, Kalso, BC just might be the gem you're looking for! You could cover every square foot of the town in a matter of hours but could spend days indulging in the charm and character at every corner. There's just something wonderful about a tiny mountain town, at the edge of a lake as beautiful as Kootenay reservoir. while many of the businesses close during the winter and non-tourist season, there is still plenty of charm and hospitality to be found, though, don't expect to do any tours during the off-season months. Kaslo's winter days are quite short, but the town still seems to bustle with a quaint nightlife of grabbing a beverage or finding some live music in a cafe. Not the party life by any means, but perfect for a quiet little weekend away.

Helpful Tips
